Beyond hands-on medical care, CHN Foundation has designated funds available to help area children, adults, and families who are experiencing financial difficulties due to serious medical problems.
This assistance may include:
• medical, dental or mental health treatment;
• transportation to and from appointments or treatments;
• lodging and meals while receiving out-of-town medical care;
• child care;
• specialized equipment or supplies needed for care and treatment;
• supportive services for other family members (i.e., counseling);
• financial assistance, such as continuing health insurance premiums;
• other assistance as needed.
provide assistance to children or adults who are diagnosed with a medical, dental or mental health problem that is:
• life-threatening
• long term; or
• temporary and the family lacks the financial resources to provide necessary corrective treatment.
